UMAX Technologies, Inc. recently announced its reentry into the PC market with the Intel Pentium 4-based, graphics-optimized P414 personal computer. At $898, the UMAX P414 PC delivers a powerful punch at an aggressive price, the ideal complement for the entire UMAX line of consumer and professional scanners. The P414, previewed at PC Expo in New York, is now available online. The multimedia-ready P414 is set for immediate high-end graphics action, with a 1.4 GHz Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 processor, 128 MB of RDRAM (memory), 400MHz system bus and an NVIDIA TNT2 M64 32MB 4X AGP graphics card. The PC ships with Windows 98, Second Edition, installed.

(Press Release) Portable Computer Enhancements (PCE2000) and Birmingham, Ala.-based, Times2 Tech (T2T), announced that they have jointly developed and released an internal 128MB RAM upgrade for the award-winning Compaq IPAQ H3100/3600 Series Pocket PC. The 128MB upgrade sells for $349 including second day return shipping to anywhere in the Continental United States. The turn-around time for the upgrade process is three to four business days and reservations are required. The upgrade comes with a 30-day money back guarantee and a 90-day warranty. Users do need to be aware that this upgrade is not authorized by Compaq and will void their warranty. OCZ Technology Group in cooperation with 3DChipset.com announced the release of the OCZ Titan 2 MX400SE video adaptor. The Titan 2 MX400SE is based on the Nvidia MX400 chipset and boasts features such as 5ns SDRAM ram running at speeds of 200Mhz.and modified RF filtering for the best 2D image quality on a MX400 card to date.
