    Palemino Or Northwood?
    By Kunal May 14, 2001, 03:39 PM

From the way I'm seeing things, desktop palemino will debut, from august, through to february 2002.

Northwood will most likely come into play end of 2001, mid term of palemino.

What would you guys go for? Does tualatin come into this question?

Ie is it P3(tualatin) VS P4(Northwood) VS Athlon4 (Palemino)

Whatever is the best chip at the time

    By sharkypinoy May 14, 2001, 03:47 PM

well i would go for the palomino becuz of price ..cuz everything from amd is cheaper..but if money wasn't an case..then i would go with the northwood no question ..becuz by then...they would have those mobos that support the sdram and ddr ram for the p4...so that would be kewl too...

    By ChencChris May 14, 2001, 03:51 PM

actually if money isn't the case I would go for RDRAM cus P4 shines w/ RDRAM.

Aw nuts! The mods will have to be ready to be trigger-happy on the thread locks if that ever comes back! Plus us neutral and (consider it and/or) sensible people will have to help them! Prepare the extinguishers!
