What game are you currently really into?
    By joeyw99 June 08, 2001, 12:18 PM

I'm looking for a new game to get and i was wondering what everyone out there is playing.

    By Mr. K June 08, 2001, 01:28 PM

It's BG2 for me...Bought about 3 days ago and have spent to the wee hours of the mourn playing...

    By DavidCPA June 08, 2001, 01:28 PM

The games I am playing now are:

    Rune: Halls of Valhalla
You don't need to have the original Rune to play this game. If you like online melee combat, this is the way to go. If you don't have a DSL/Cable modem, your play may be a bit laggy.

    NBA Live 2001
For the first time in several years, I have been paying attention to the NBA playoffs. It is great fun to see if I can lead the Sixers to the title over the Lakers. You need a good gamepad to play this game well though.

    Quake III
I usually just play a quick single player game because the availability of good multiplyers servers has been lacking lately. Either I don't know where to look or they just aren't there.

I am looking forward to the release of the following:
    Diablo II: Lord of Destruction
I really liked D2 and can't wait to see how the game looks at 800x600 and how the new characters play.

    Hope this helps.

    I'm hopelessly addicted to TeamFortress

    By Ryoken June 08, 2001, 02:26 PM

    TRIBES 2!!!

    It absolutely rocks.
    http://www.tribes2.com

You need a monster system tho.

    By LordVampyre June 08, 2001, 03:51 PM

Serious Sam... playing way too much of it.. but its just too much fun.

    By Blizzard June 08, 2001, 04:06 PM

Well, I have 3 games that I play these days : Black & White, Tribes 2 and Counterstrike, all of these games are excellent, but lately I find myself loading up counterstrike more than the other games

    By BobTheSlob June 08, 2001, 04:38 PM

I have been recently addicted to Asheron's Call, until today at 4:20, when I realized it sucks. Now, I am waiting for people to be able to play WWII Online. Really interested in that..

    By Molochi June 08, 2001, 04:55 PM

Tribes 2. Though it don't like my system much, Radeonitis and all. Framerate just sux.

By Galen of Edgewood June 08, 2001, 04:59 PM

    I'm into Diablo II.

I'm getting back into Total Annihilation because I bought a legal copy. ($10! Whoo hoo!) I used to have a burned, crappy, copy of the game. I feel better now, not to mention it runs beautifully....

I'm also having fun with Crazy Taxi on the Dreamcast.

By Mandorallen of Molynnr June 08, 2001, 06:19 PM

CS. Trying to get good, with high pings.

    By alienrash June 08, 2001, 06:44 PM

    Firearms 2.5 mod for halflife.
    Homeworld cataclysm

    By Fwank June 12, 2001, 05:22 AM

Right now I have been testing the hell out of Anarchy Online's Beta. The game decent and will be out later this month. I am not a big fan of level based games but this one seems good. Its Starwars Everquest without the parts of EQ that sucked.

Damn near all Dreamcast games are at $20. If you don't have a Dreamcast go spend the $200 and get a DC and 5 or 6 games.

    By Oliwa June 12, 2001, 10:03 AM

    I have 3 games installed.

Starcraft (play everyday for 4-8 hours). As soon as I get off work my friend and I are on BattleNet till bedtime.

Nascar 4. I play the occasional 200 lap race. I try to keep up with the actual NWS series. I still need to race MIS.

Unreal Tournament. My favorite game. Haven't played for 3 months.

I used to be addicted to Counterstrike. So bad that i set up and ran my own server for a while... but then the motherboard fried and i havent felt like replacing it yet. The server never lagged cuz it ran off a T3 connection (in my living room hehe -- dont believe me u can go to www.waldenweb.com and see where i live)... but my friend got me on EQ now, and ive been spending more time on that than CS. I kinda lost interest in CS after the server went down... i feel powerless in servers to which i dont have RCON control, and then i see ppl abusing theirs, and it makes me quit playing. Someone mentioned something abt a D2 expansion changing the gameplay to 800x600... ill have to check that out, since i never played more than the first 2 min of D2. On my 21" monitor, that resolution made for some pretty horrible graphics.

I´'m playing these games at the moment: Undying, GP3 and CS. I can really recommend them all too you, with the expection of GP3, where I think you need interest in F1 to enjoy. If you are, it's a great game.

    By Zippee June 12, 2001, 05:00 PM

    I've just bought Icewind Dale.
I've never played this type of game before, I usually just play FPS, I heard it was a good game and it was cheap so I thought I would give it a try and I just carn't stop playing it, I played it six hours non stop the other day!!

All these years I've been missing out on PC Rpg's
Not anymore i'm buying them all!

Right godda go, my mage is calling me.

    By Triton June 12, 2001, 05:32 PM

Ok, just back from some Undying. Had to stop, the game gave me the creeps, again, playing here late nigth. This game is the scariest I've ever played. Only buy it if you have strong nerves, or be prepared for a nerv wracking experience.

Agree with you there. Playing at 2AM in the dark is an experiance I've never had before from a game.

    Most played to least played:
    -_|Tribes 2
This rocks if you have a computer to handle it (turn off texture shape for an extra speed boost when you're desperate), and if you wanna play online with a 56k, I usually get about 200ping if I join a good server! The grafx are also very impressive.

-_|Roller Coaster Tycoon + Loopy Landscapes
This game also rocks! Best strategy game I've ever played! Finally a strategy game without war! The worst thing you can do (which is quite fun) is through people into water, or half-build a coaster and open it before testing it, then just sit back and relax as your guests shoot, screaming, off the end of the track. It's so great that it doesn't have any war.

    -_|Counter-Strike
This a great game, I play it over my home lan, it sucks with a 56k.

    -_|Black and White
Actually, I haven't played this game for like a month, but if you like being able to through things and raise a giant creature, this game rocks!

    By Cyber June 13, 2001, 09:33 PM

Delta Force Land Warrior it rocks !!!!!!!!!!
