A quick search on shareware.com turned up a ton of wolfenstein stuff. A whopping 800k. better drag out the 2400 baud modem

Yeah the old WS fit on a diskette and it should be freeware by now. ID let it and doom become a free download if I remember correctly. don't forget "Spear of Destiney" its WS II.

Never liked Spear. That green stuff was obnoxious.

That ain't "Wolfenstein". That's "wolfenstein 3d". The ORIGINAL was a 2d game for the Apple II, and man, that game kicked 3D's ass. A lot more suspenseful, a lot more cloack-and-dagger (heh - especially Beyond Castle Wolfenstein, where you got to stab people). 3D was just a shoot 'em up.

    By Wurm July 10, 2001, 05:37 PM

Never had an Apple II so I wouldn't know, I thought both "3D" and "Spear" kinda sucked because of how slow your guy would turn around. One ACHTUNG and before you can bring the MG to bear....Blammo!

so the Wolfenstien that you get from id is the full game? how do you get it to install? and you can get the full doom too?

    By Fwank July 12, 2001, 05:33 AM

Don't forget Duke Nukem 3D its freeware too.
