www.tomshardware.com had one, www.socketa.com had one or maybe it was www.amdzone.com, but they all just gave the details, and for the details just get them from www.nvidia.com the link should be on the home page, its been the big flash stuff in the middle of the page...

msi is the only motherboard company that released some specs on an upcoming board, http://www.msicomputer.com/Newsrelease/nForce.htm

it only gives a few small details...

Nforce is not going to be out for a long time as they are having problems with the south bridge.

It is not true, they will be on time but the 420D (with Dolby Digital)will not be in the initial release.

I still don't see why everyone is flipping over about the nForce...it only has a Geforce2 onboard...hardly brilliant concidering it an OLD graphics card in comparison to say a Geforce3 and let's face it, by the time it hits the streets the GF3 Ultra will probably be there if not just round the corner.

I also want to know what all the excitement is about this board? Is there something im missing about the specs? Please fill me in on the goods!

So are you going to pay $400 for a GF3 Ultra while your GF3 has not only 3 months old ?

nForce represents a new era of pc since it differs greatly from what we have seen nowadays.

If the graphics looks pathetic to you, then check out crossbar memory architecture, HyperTransport, one-step arbitration logic, and later Dolby Digital encoding audio with 420D IGP. At least on paper, it blows VIA, INTEL, SiS and AMD chipsets sky high.

Did you see these goodies anywhere in other chipsets ?

When GF3 Ultra hits streets I probably will get GF3 if the price is right.

    What leoku said.

No one who is looking forward to this board cares about the graphics or the sound (well, if they implement the sound as they originally said they would it might be a nice featuer). What gets most people so excited are the other benefits, most notably the memory architecture. The Nforce has the potential to be the highest performing Athlon solution when it hits market. All the rest is just dross.

the nforce has some great characteristics as a chipset.

You would have to read up on it, but I belive that the bandwidth is doubled by this chipset.
