By The Grinch October 19, 2000, 11:51 AM

I just picked one up. It's so fast the darn thing fried my monitor! LOL

    By Klashe October 19, 2000, 01:16 PM

I got one at home. It's so fast, in Quake 3, all I can see is starlines.

    By Gsmiley October 19, 2000, 01:22 PM

LOLOL, oh man imagine that, you would need a huge tower to fit it

    By sapasion October 19, 2000, 01:52 PM

    I'll need a bigger case.

    By Duo October 19, 2000, 03:31 PM

Yea I have had this card for a few weeks. In Q3a with max every thing at 1600x1200 I get 100-150 fps, need a faster cpu now to unleash its full power.

    By SiNOMan October 19, 2000, 03:52 PM

Man you need an extra full tower just for the video card...

    By Humus October 19, 2000, 03:59 PM

Too sad there is a driver bug causing 22 of the processors to not be used in 1600x1200

    By mlusr October 19, 2000, 04:38 PM

    !

    By sww October 19, 2000, 04:43 PM

I already did a case mod for mine...just cut my case in half and suspended the top half from the ceiling while having the bottom half on my desk. It works great...If I need extra cooling, i just raise the top part a little to allow in more air, for dust reduction I just lower it.

    By nova October 19, 2000, 06:06 PM

I got one of the BETA boards. It got too hot and burned my house down.

    By Navaho October 19, 2000, 07:34 PM

Its fun but the radiation burns, and skin mutations are kind of a high trade off

    By Althor October 20, 2000, 03:15 AM

    Guys, that's nothing.
I purchased two of these babe's in PCI version, and use them in SLI mode.
But forget that old fashioned TN reactor.
I recently got a warpcore of an Intrepid-clas vessel. That does the trick.
The only drawback is that, B'ellana Torres is always running around me telling me she has to realign some damn cristals or something, that sucks.

    By Pinky October 20, 2000, 03:22 AM

That's nice but how hight can I overclock it?

    hahahaha

    By Ymaster October 20, 2000, 04:43 AM

Beat this: ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon III MAXX Ultra

The ATI AIW Radeon III MAXX Ultra features nine, state-of-the-art GPUs, each consuming about 5 watts of power. With total power consumption of around 50 watts, all you need is a 400 watt power supply to take advantage of this baby! I can get around 600 FPS at 1600x1200@32 with 32xFSAA and all DX8 features enabled! Top that!

I just thought I'd mention an important detail to anyone considering the WooHoo 34500 AGP card. You'll need to set up the computer near a dryer outlet or stove outlet seeing as the card's external power supply requires 220-240V.

You'll also need to inform the Electric company of your purchase as they may need to upgrade the transformers in your area to alleviate the risk of taking out an entire grid.

I heard it's built in with the software, you can go as high as your CPU clock with the core and 3/4 CPU clock with the memory...I gotta try this baby!

    By GTaudiophile October 21, 2000, 12:28 AM

What, no comments on my ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon III MAXX Ultra?

Ok, I'll admit I'm not an expert when it comes to using Adobe PhotoShop!
