  • Most of you have already read our coverage on the AMD-760 DDR chipset, and have already heard how impressed we were with the performance gains in Quake III. It was surprising to see how little feedback made its way into the forum though, so if you have an opinion, let us know. Are there additional tests you would like to see? Expect further coverage on the 760 as we subject another batch of our Duron processors to overclocking. In the meantime, there are now more than 3,400 fellow enthusiasts registered to our forums who would very likely hear what you have to say about the performance of tomorrow's high-end platforms.

Each week we take several of the most popular/insightful/controversial threads and present them to you for easy digestion. Feel free to jump in at any time (it's kind of like jump rope, in a way) and discuss, as we've added links on each spotlight page so you can easily add your own comments and contribute to the debate! If your repartee strikes us as useful, humorous, or otherwise entertaining, it stands the distinct possibility of being featured next week. Without further ado…

While there are still setbacks to Windows 2000, like a few issues with DVD, we have found it to be a more reliable OS.

    Pentium 4 Pros And Cons
Now that we've seen the AMD-760 in action, does Intel's Pentium 4 really stand a chance? If Dell's withdrawal of their P4 demo system was any indication of the future, Intel has quite a task ahead of them readying the P4 for the retail market

    Rampage To Get 64-Bit Rendering?
Last week we had GeForce3 rumors abounding, and this week we have a few on the Rampage, 3dfx's next-generation product. We're already pretty sure that 3dfx won't be showing anything new at Comdex, so the big question is: when?

Would You Pay $4.95 A Month For Napster
Many of us have been enjoying Napster for months now. Would you pay for this service? Let your voice be heard.

    Pentium III Versus AMD
As the second poster, fiestared, stated, this one should include a warning from the Surgeon General. Either way though, we've all had positive and negative with each company, so feel free to share your experiences.

How Do I Copy My Outlook Express 5.5 Messages?
One of the most frustrating aspects of OE is the lack of message export options. In order to save your messages and folders, you usually have to perform the PC variation of brain surgery. Let the pros explain it for you.
