Our trip to Codemasters not only shed some light on Prince Naseem Boxing but also on their sequel to TOCA aptly named TOCA 2. TOCA (for those of you now already in the know) was a highly successful racing game released in the summer of 1998 and it's obvious that fans yearned for yet more. Thus we've sneaked out a couple of screen shots of the game in action (see below).

This new version of TOCA still retains the official BTCC (British Touring Car Championship) Cars license and will sport a new and improved 3D engine. A D3D version will be implemented to allow support for 3D card owners across the board. Special effects such as, smashing glass, car damage, real-time lighting and particle-based explosions will make a welcome appearance. The popular split-screen mode will be ever present as well as support for multiplayer games across a LAN. Look out for a Q2 1999 release.
