About Us
Do you remember Interstate '76 (that 3D combat driving game)? Did you dig those Afros and funky tunes? Did you think that Skeeter and Taurus cut the rug? Well thankfully, Activision has been working on a sequel set in the early 1980's. Backed up by a New Wave sound track, Interstate '82 sees the return of Skeeter, Taurus (minus the Afro) with 30 new missions to drive-thru across 20 levels (including Las Vegas). This time around, there won't be any software version. The 3D engine is hardware only and the team has decided to throw in fog, lightening and rain effects for added realism. The environments will range from tight cramped cities to wide-open spaces. We're keeping our eyes widely open for this sequel, which is due out in the fall. In the meantime take a quick look at these new shots that were sent in.
