One area where there will be a major change over the original Tribes is in the AI. Tribes II will have characters with very strong AI who can do more than just attack. They will be able to take orders, defend and repair your base, and even capture the enemy flag! This is an exciting development for game play since so many players out there absolutely refuse to take orders. We see a lot of possibilities with this! Why, you could have two players go head to head in a perfect first person shooter/real time strategy mix! We wonder if an AI will ever disobey orders and go attack the enemy base because it got bored defending?
Game play and feel should be much the same as the original Tribes, and for this we're thankful. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. But wait, there's more! More vehicles, more weapons, more levels (some of them even bigger than before!), more players in one game, the powerful AI, a new tribe of genetically engineered freaks called the BioDerms, and more fun! And it isn't even done yet, that's just all they had ready for E3. It's going to get even better!

"Hello nurse! Those BioDerms sure are beautiful!"
Dynamix's Starsiege: Tribes II, which should be out sometime late this year for PC and Mac, is going to be a thrilling experience. We're already warming up our video cards getting ready to play. This very well could be the best FPS ever! Half-life better watch out, it may lose the crown.
