  • Who says good adventure games are dead? Not LucasArts! The fourth installment of their outstanding Monkey Island series is on its way. The design team is the same one that made the irreverent Sam & Max game for LucasArts, so you can expect plenty of wackiness.

The story follows The Curse of Monkey Island, with Guybrush Threepwood and his wife, Governer Elaine Marley-Threepwood returning from their honeymoon. Upon reaching Meelee Island, they discover that politician Charles L. Charles is making a run for Elaine's job, and his campaign claims he should get it because Elaine is dead. Talk about mudslinging! As ever, the story gets goofier from here as Elaine and Guybrush work to save Elaine's job and uncover new evils along the way. Like all the Monkey Island games, plan on seeing some excellent artwork, tinkering with great puzzles, and enjoying a mischievous sense of humor.
