  • We haven’t got a chance of even beginning to tell you what all of the above means, but what we do know is that it all combines to make for some very nice character animation indeed if what we saw of the game at E3 is anything to go by. Julie has a ton of moves at her disposal from various combat tricks to special actions such as climbing, edging along a narrow ledge or shimmying along a horizontal pole suspended in midair.

F.A.K.K.² should offer more than pretty visuals and cut scenes though. Julie can carry two weapons at once, offering a number of interesting combat possibilities. You can carry two Uzis to rip into the enemies from afar, carry shield and sword if you’re up for nothing but hand to hand combat, or you can even get Julie to wield a sword and Uzi if you’re feeling a little more versatile. This is certainly a different approach to having two fire modes for one weapon, and we have to say it also looks a heck of a lot cooler.

For now, the Ritual guys are focusing solely on the single player experience. Multiplayer may well follow in a patch though and it looks like the developers really want to make deathmatch from a third person perspective work well rather than just adding netcode to the single player game. Look for F.A.K.K.² sometime in the coming months.
