We do have some concerns after playing the demo. The default control setup is very difficult to use. While they give you a lot of different ways to control your movement, doing more than just controlling your direction and thrust is difficult. While the original Sinistar had great play, games are rarely made like it anymore. Today's audience demands more than just flying around and blasting AI controlled ships. We tend to want plot, missions, and goals to complete. Will intense play alone be enough to keep our interest in the long term? And lastly, Sinistar is just way too hard to defeat. He was extremely hard to beat in the original, and it seems that GameFX took that difficulty to the next level.

Sinistar Unleashed has several things going for it: a great license, beautiful graphics, and furious play. Will those be enough to get it into our favorites list? We're not sure, but we're definitely waiting to play the full version so we can tell you.
