The two headed, four armed announcer sits down in his booth overlooking the starting line. With a deep intake of breath, his left head starts the show. "Ladies, gentlemen, and things, welcome to the third annual Boonta Classic Pod Racing extravaganza! You bet your favorite appendage it's going to be a wild and crazy race!"

His right head interrupts, "Hey, is that Anakin Skywalker climbing into his Pod Racer? Well, good to see he's got it all back together after that terrible crash!"

"The force sure wasn't with him then! He took the well-lit tunnel route and crashed. Hey Anakin, this time you'd better use the dark side!"

Star Wars: Episode I Racer is an arcade racer where you get to climb into the cockpit of a pod racer straight out of the Phantom Menace. There are over twenty races in which to compete, staged on eight different planets while piloting one of over twenty different pod racers.
