Weekly CPU Pricing Guide

January 2011

Biweekly CPU Prices - Week of January 17, 2010

By and large, the prices we track in this installment of our processor guide held every bit as steady as they ended the last. But a few small to modest drops can be found amid the mostly stagnant prices.

Biweekly CPU Prices - Week of January 3, 2010

In our bi-weekly look at CPU prices, processors from both AMD and Intel held steady, but a few small-to-modest drops can be found amidst the mostly stagnant prices.

December 2010

Biweekly CPU Prices - Week of December 27, 2010

Overall, this week's CPU prices remain as frozen as the winter weather in New England as both AMD and Intel processors showed little movement this holiday season. But there are a few small surprises.

December 27, 2010

Biweekly CPU Prices - Week of December 6, 2010

This week's CPU prices appear to be frozen in place, with little in the way of downward movement to report anywhere in the guide. Only three of the prices we track dropped at all since we last saw them, and none fell enough to stir any excitement.

November 2010

Biweekly CPU Prices - Week of November 22, 2010

While last week might have brought plenty of things to be thankful for, significant CPU price cuts were not among them. Only a handful of the prices we track in this guide fell at all, and none by very much. But hopefully the start of the holiday shopping season will lead to more in the way of price drops.

Biweekly CPU Prices - Week of November 8, 2010

Despite the majority of prices we track continuing to hold steady, a handful did fall by enough to make some potential buyers happy. As both camps start ramping up talk of upcoming product releases, hopefully the coming weeks will see more downward price movement.

October 2010

Biweekly CPU Prices - Week of October 25, 2010

Alas, prices continue to hold steady in the CPU price guide, with few of the prices we track falling at all and none falling by very much. And this isn't likely to change much until we start seeing some changes to the existing product lines.

Biweekly CPU Prices - Week of October 11, 2010

Unfortunately, you'll need a fine-toothed comb to find savings in this installment of the CPU buying guide, with vendors holding the line on both Intel and AMD prices.

Biweekly CPU Prices - Week of September 27, 2010

Unfortunately, that three-digit price drop we saw in the last CPU Price Guide did not lead to more of the same in this issue. But a number of more modest price cuts are here to be found, some of which should come as pleasant news to prospective buyers.

September 2010

Biweekly CPU Prices - Week of September 13, 2010

While most of the processor prices we've been tracking have continued to hold steady, one huge triple-digit drop is there to be found in this week's Intel chart. Whether this will prove to be an isolated drop or a sign of things to come, only time can tell.
