If you're thinking that the Intel chart is going to be much more exciting than the AMD chart was, think again. While the $11 and $12 drops on the prices of the 2.53Ghz/533 and 2.4GHz/533, respectfully, are welcome, when you take into account their relatively high prices, it amounts to about the same kinds of drops, percentage-wise, that we saw on Athlon XP's in the AMD listings.
July has historically been a slow month for CPU prices, and so far this year is proving to be no exception to that rule. With the next big price-slashing of the year usually not coming before August, buyers can probably go ahead and make their purchases without fear that the processors they bought will have fallen by 50% in price the next day.
