We see a little more movement on Intel prices than we witnessed in the AMD chart, with the Pentium 3-1 GHz and 1.5GHz dropping by $10, and the 1.8GHz Pentium 4 XEON dropping by $11. But for yet another week, we're not seeing a lot to really get excited about. The week has been so slow, in fact, that one of the listings that just made it onto the chart last week, the Pentium 4-2.4GHz/533MHz OEM, fell back off again.

General Comments

With the stagnation in this week's CPU prices matched only by those in the weekly memory prices, this won't make those who have been waiting to upgrade or build a system, rush out to do so. But since prices aren't really going up, either, it's also not a week where anyone should be dissuaded from doing so.
