We see a bit more movement among Intel CPU prices than we did in the AMD chart, partly because of last week's introduction of new processors that have since dropped a bit in price. The Pentium 4-2.6 GHz, for example, fell by $20 on the OEM flavor and $16 on the retail version of the chip. But all in all, while there are some definite deals, it's been a fairly slow week for Intel pricing as well.
With new products having recently been released and the Christmas shopping season around the corner, it will hopefully be just a matter of time before we see some more movement (downward movement that is) in both the Intel and AMD price charts. But for the time being, prices are mostly holding as steady as they have been for the past few weeks.
