The biggest price changes in this week's Intel chart all seem to come as a result of corrections to last week's biggest price shifts. Those that rose or dropped inexplicably in last week's guide went back to their old prices in this one, for the most part. As for new introductions, this week's guide brings the debut of the 2.2GHz Celeron to the weekly CPU guide... so the AMD chart isn't the only one with a new mass-market processor for February.
We see a few CPU price changes, here and there... but most of the significant ones can be declared as corrections to last week's price changes. The bigger news, for CPU guide readers, will be the debuts of the Athlon XP 2800+ and the 2.2GHz Celeron in this week's AMD and Intel charts, respectively.
