As in the AMD chart, there are a few gems to be found scattered among this week's Intel CPU prices; but you have to look for them and hope they're on the processor you're planning to buy. You won't find much that is absolutely earth-shattering; but a $16 drop on the price of the Pentium 4-2.6 GHz OEM and a $15 drop on its 2.5 GHz sibling are nothing to scoff at, either.
Both the AMD and Intel sections of this week's price guide include some modest-to-significant price decreases on some high-end processors. It might be worth waiting just a little for the dust to settle, though, before buying... just to make sure you don't end up kicking yourself afterwards.
