Weekly CPU Prices - Week of July 14, 2003 - Page 2

The Intel chart isn't much better than the AMD one, though we do have one huge price cut on the 3.06GHz Pentium 4 XEON. But beyond that, we see very little change in this week's Intel's CPU price guide from the last. There was some activity throughout the Pentium 4 line, and while it amounted to nominal dollar amounts, overall trends leaned toward higher prices.

General Comments

The weekly CPU guide has been so slow of late, that you might do a double-take and check to make sure you're not reading last week's edition, or even the week before, for that matter. Hopefully we'll see some kind of movement in time for some back-to-school gifts, but with few upcoming product announcements, we're not holding our breath.
