Intel Comments
This week's biggest drop is on the Celeron 2.4GHz Celeron, which fell by $6, and is not all that much, especially when we've been reading about Intel supposedly cutting Celeron prices. Beyond that, we have the now-typical drops of no more than a few dollars on the rest of the Intel CPU prices in the guide.
General Comments
School is about to start up for most students, and we still haven't seen the kinds of price drops that would give some of those students some good news on any upcoming system purchase. Instead, we see pricing inching up or down on some processors while holding steady on most. With the next typical time for price drops still over a month away, this leaves us worrying that it'll be a while before we have much excitement in this guide.
