As in the AMD chart, we see most Intel CPU prices drop by only a few dollars and many others not move at all. But after seeing Pentium 4 prices fall by so much over the past couple of weeks, it really isn't surprising that things would have slowed down for a while. To keep things fresh, we've revamped the XEON section of the guide, now that 533MHz versions of those processors have become more readily available.
Now surely you didn't expect to see more of the same huge price drops as we had in last week's guide. All good things, as they say, must come to an end; and so too has this latest round of price drops. But hopefully with the holiday shopping season coming fast upon us and new product introductions due in the coming months, it won't be long before we have some more excitement in our weekly price guide.
