Weekly CPU Prices - Week of December 22, 2003 - Page 2

Following along with the AMD list, Intel prices are holding pretty steady, with very few changing at all. We do see one price increase of $11 on the 2.4Ghz XEON, and we also see the return of a couple of the higher end XEON's that had failed to show up as being listed with vendors when last week's guide was being prepared. But beyond that, there not much new to report on in the Intel processor charts.

General Comments

I don't know if it's because we've been bad; but those who had been hoping that Christmas week would bring the gift of lower prices are going to be disappointed after reading this week's price guide. With few CPU prices dropping at all, and a couple going up instead of down, this is as slow a week as we've seen in a while.
