The only significant drops in this week's Intel charts come in on their XEON processors, which does give some good news to a portion of the market. Unfortunately, this also means there's not much for the average PC enthusiast to get excited about, as the rest of the Intel Pentium 4 and Celeron sections of the guide are mostly comprised of prices that are within a few dollars of where they were last week.
Prices in both the AMD and Intel sections of the guide continue to hold steady, at least partly because there hasn't been much in the way of new product introductions to get them moving downwards. But with Computex coming up next week, we're hoping that upcoming CPU releases and enhanced competition will yield at least some price decreases.
