Prices have pretty much held steady, once again, in the Intel charts, with only one Pentium 4 processor falling by $6 and none of the others falling by more than a few bucks. And so the only "news," if you can call it that, is our addition of a couple of processors to the guide, as the Pentium 4 520 (2.8 GHz) and 530 (3.0 GHz) have become more widely available and are ready to be formally tracked.
Overall CPU prices are once again holding steady, and continue the trend we've grown all too accustomed to seeing in recent editions of this guide. And with little else in the way of "new product announcements" expected on the horizon (beyond AMD's renaming of some of their processors as "Semprons"), it seems that this market stability may keep up for a while longer.
