Keeping in line with what we saw on the AMD side, the Intel processor chart has some nice price drops scattered amidst less stagnant processor prices. But when they fall, they fall by quite a bit, with the biggest being a $45 drop in the price of the retail Pentium 4-3.4C GHz. The new LGA775 Pentium 4 550 (3.4 GHz) and 530 (3.0 GHz) also dropped by $20 or more, and there were some other double-digit price cuts scattered through the Pentium 4 list.
This week's CPU price guide is a bit of a rollercoaster, with double-digit price cuts mixed in with the usual stagnant price levels, and even some increases tossed in for good measure. So depending on which processor you have your heart set on, this might be a great week or a lousy one, as far as processor pricing goes.
