There are a few nice price decreases scattered amongst the processors tracked in the Intel charts. But while a $30 drop in the price of the 3.2GHz Pentium 4 XEON and a $19 drop on the cost of the 2.8GHz Celeron 335 do a good job of keeping things interesting, the majority of the mainstream Pentium 4 prices are pretty much holding steady in this week's guide.
Thanks to a few price drops found in both the AMD and Intel charts, this week's guide is a little more interesting than last week's. But the price decreases, while they're nice when they come, are still few and far between, and are accompanied by a few unwelcome price increases. Hopefully next week, we'll receive even more price cuts to be thankful for than we're getting in this holiday issue of the CPU Price Guide.
