It's another slow week on the Intel charts, with the majority of Pentium 4 and Celeron prices holding right where they were in our last edition. It's getting less and less surprising, given how long since there's been anything really new in the way of Intel product introductions. Until we start to see new Pentium 4 models from Intel, and at noticeably higher clock speeds, these pricing trends will likely continue.
Once again, there's next-to-nothing to get excited about in either camp's processor charts, with both AMD and Intel prices holding steady. There was some action on the AMD charts, but it was more a back-and-forth movement negating changes from prior weeks. The biggest issue is the lack of new product releases, and both AMD and Intel have come to a plateau at this point in time. Until new products are released, it's unlikely prices are going to drop significantly anytime soon.
