Intel Comments
There is virtually nothing to report in the Intel charts, with prices holding right where they've been for a while. The overall Celeron and Pentium 4 prices are remarkably stable this week, even for Intel. In fact, only five prices dropped at all, with none decreasing by more than $5.
General Comments
If you were hoping for some holiday cheer in the form of Intel and AMD CPU price drops, I'm afraid we have the processor guide equivalent of a lump of coal for your stocking. There are a few modest drops scattered here and there, but these are nothing to get excited about. When larger price cuts do occur, as with some of the AMD Athlon 64, Opteron and Sempron listings, they're more often just corrections of prior price increases.
