Weekly CPU Prices - Week of February 7, 2005 - Page 2

This week's Intel Pentium 4 and Celeron charts are absent of any significant price drops, with the biggest being a $6 drop in a 3.4GHz Pentium 4 Extreme Edition, or barely enough to even put a small dent in its hefty $993 price tag. There are smaller price decreases through many other models, along with a couple of double-digit increases hitting the 3.2 GHz Pentium 4 540 and Pentium 4-2.4C GHz.

General Comments

The Intel and AMD processors we track in the weekly CPU price guide seem to be settling back into stagnancy after a week of price cuts that had seemed mildly promising. With only one significant drop to be found in either section of the guide, those looking for deals are likely going to be disappointed by this week's edition of the CPU price guide.
