The Intel price list doesn't hold any better news, and unfortunately, we see about as many price increases as drops in this week's chart. But while $10 price jumps can be somewhat disconcerting... thankfully, they are few and far between. These higher prices also hit slightly-outdated models such as the Celeron 340J and Pentium 4 5xx series, while the more popular Pentium D and Pentium 6xx models remained stable or even dropped slightly.
This has been another slow week for AMD and Intel processor prices, with few showing any price cuts at all and none dropping by a significant amount. A few of the processors we track, in fact, have actually been inching upwards in price, but hopefully this trend will be reversed in the coming weeks.
