Most of the Celeron and Pentium 4 prices in this week's Intel chart are holding pretty steady, once again, with none dropping by enough to send anyone rushing to make a purchase. Even the Pentium D and Pentium 4 6xx prices are remaining stable, or even increasing a bit, and there are no real trends to report this week. A handful of new Celeron D processors make an appearance in the guide, though, and help to keep things interesting.
If you're counting on significant price drops to get you excited about this week's processor guide, then prepare to be disappointed. On the plus side, though, we do see some processor debuts in both the AMD and Intel sections of the CPU price guide. And as more and more new processors find their ways onto the listings, we hope to see existing processors slide downwards in their pricing.
