This week's Intel Celeron and Pentium 4/D charts contain just a single price cut: a paltry $3 drop in the price of the 3.8GHz Pentium 4 670. The rest of the processors tracked in this section of the guide, meanwhile, either held steady or moved upwards in price, with the biggest price change being a $12 jump in the price of the 3.0GHz Pentium 4 530J. The dual core Pentium D models were also remarkably stable, with the only movement being a couple of small $1 price increases.
The winter chill continues to keep the Weekly CPU Price Guide on ice, it seems, with the overwhelming majority of the AMD and Intel prices we track holding right where they've been for weeks. This week's issue isn't completely devoid of noticeable price drops, at least on the AMD side of things, but it's certainly close to it.
