As in our last Intel chart, none of the Celeron, Pentium 4 or Pentium D processors fell by more than $3 this week. Most of the prices tracked in this section of the guide are right where they were last week, and those few models that did fall, dropped by only a few dollars. At some point Intel has to join the price-cutting party, but we're betting it takes some new processor releases to get the festivities started.
Yes, I know... adults aren't supposed to believe in Santa Claus. But I say we hedge our bets and try asking him to bring us some more price drops to report in next week's edition of the Weekly CPU Price Guide... Maybe the big guy from the North Pole will come through and make this a joyful holiday CPU shopping season after weeks of mostly frozen-in-place processor prices.
