There is almost nothing to report in this week's Intel charts, with the Celeron D, Pentium 4, and Pentium D lines showing very consistent pricing. There were just two paltry price drops to be found: the Pentium D 920 fell $4 and the Pentium D 805 received a $1 price cut. The rest of the Intel processors tracked in this section of the guide either continued to hold steady or even inched upwards from last week's price levels.
It's been a slow week for both AMD and Intel processor prices, with few dropping at all and none falling by enough to cause much excitement. A few modest price drops are scattered amongst the AMD prices; but by and large, things are holding as steady as we've seen them in a while. Here's hoping that the upcoming AMD AM2 and Intel Core 2 Duo/Extreme processors liven things up a bit.
