While we do have a couple of small price drops to report in this week's Intel chart (literally a couple: one a $3 cut to the Core 2 Duo E6600 and the other a $7 drop on the Core 2 Duo E6600), we also have a $30 jump upwards in the tracked price of the 3.0 GHz Pentium D 930. Although prices aren't moving down on Intel's hottest processor line, the debut of a few more Core 2 Duo models, like the 1.83 GHz E6320 and 2.13 GHz E6420, should add a bit more excitement to our weekly guide.
The weather might be warming up these days, but you could hardly tell by the CPU prices we track in this guide. Throughout the entire guide, we reported only two price drops... and both were small ones of no more than $7. But a few attractively-priced Core 2 Duo processors make their debut in this edition, at least, and bring something new into the weekly CPU price guide mix.
