This week's Intel CPU price list continues with last week's trend, and most prices stay right where they were in our previous edition. A few processors did drop by small amounts, like $10 shaved off the 1.6 GHz XEON 5110, but none fell by enough to stir up much excitement. It was also another very stable week in the Core 2 market, as a measly $2 drop to price of the 3.0 GHz Core 2 Extreme QX6850 was the only good news in this area.
For the most part, the CPU prices we track in this guide continue to hold steady, with price drops remaining few and far between. But as in last week's guide, we do have another Phenom processor debuting in the AMD charts and remain hopeful that new Phenom processors will continue to be introduced, and prices will eventually begin to drop on some Athlon 64 X2 and Core 2 Duo models.
