As in the AMD sections of the guide, Intel prices are mostly holding steady, with only a few decreasing at all and none dropping by very much. The biggest of the Intel drops, in fact, is $5 off both the Core 2 Duo E6300 (1.86 GHz) and Core 2 Duo E6850 (3.0 GHz) processors. Thankfully, there were no price increases of note, and the vast majority of Core 2 Duo, Quad and Extreme prices stayed right in line with our previous guide.
Alas, this week's CPU price guide is almost as uneventful as our last edition, with the overwhelming majority of the processors we track continuing to hold at the same price level they have been for weeks. And while a handful of the AMD and Intel models we track did inch downwards, price drops continue to be very few and far between.
