Intel Comments

Unfortunately, this week's Intel CPU price list is far less exciting than its AMD counterpart, with nary a processor experiencing any change (up or down) from last week's prices. Total price consistency is tough to attain, especially in light of the double-digit Phenom X3 and X4 price drops. The only Intel-related news to be found in this week's guide, in fact, is the debut of the new 2.0 GHz Celeron E1400 at a price of $65.

General Comments

For the second guide in a row, we're happy to report numerous price cuts in the double-digit range. And while it's unfortunate that this week's drops are restricted to the AMD sections of the guide, they are welcome, nonetheless, and should make no small number of prospective buyers happy.
