Alas, this week's Intel CPU prices are holding considerably steadier than their AMD counterparts, and have failed to budge even after repeated price cuts to the Phenom X3 and X4 processors. Still, there was a handful of modest price decreases, with the biggest being a $15 drop in the tracked price of the 2.66 GHz Core 2 Duo E6750, help keep things interesting for prospective Intel shoppers.
Finally, we have another nice set of price drops to report in this week's price guide, with ten of the CPU prices we track falling by double-digits. Unfortunately, nine of these were for AMD processors, and while the AMD chart is certainly hopping, hopefully the coming weeks will see Intel drops experiencing similar (or even better, bigger) downward movement.
