Unfortunately, this week's Intel chart didn't follow along with the AMD trends, and overall prices remained stagnant. Only three Intel processors fell at all, including a nice $18 cut to the 2.13 GHz Core 2 Duo E6400, but the other two listings dropped by only $1. Hopefully the coming weeks will bring Intel price drops that will exceed this week's results.
For the first time in quite a few weeks, we're able to report a fair number of price drops in this week's guide. And while the majority of the activity was restricted to the AMD section of the guide, we're hopeful that upcoming price guide updates will contain increased price competition from both camps.
