Intel Comments

Unfortunately, this week's Intel CPU chart doesn't include so much as one single price drop, and only seven of the processors we track in this section of the guide changed at all. Naturally, all of these were price increases, but thankfully, those upward price movements were by fairly small amounts, with $7 jumps to the flagship Core 2 Extreme QX9650 and Core i7 Extreme 965 processors being the largest.

General Comments

Prices, for the most part, continue to hold steady in this week's edition of the Weekly CPU Price Guide. A small handful of price drops were found in the AMD chart, but these were canceled out by the Intel price increases, while any changes were vastly outnumbered by those processors that remained frozen in place.
