Unfortunately, this week's Intel processor chart contains only one price drop that hit double-digits (a $10 cut to the tracked price of the 3.0 GHz XEON E3110) and nothing along the lines of that triple-digit drop we saw in last week's guide. Only three Intel CPUs fell at all, in fact, with the overwhelming majority of processors holding steady. In fact, the week's biggest Intel change was an $11 increase to the tracked price of the 2.13 GHz Core 2 Duo E6400.
It's been another slow week for overall CPU prices with few dropping at all and even fewer still falling by more than a few dollars. Worse yet, the biggest change from each camp turned out to be a price increase, not a decrease. But thankfully, even the price jumps were rare, as the majority of the processors we track held at the same stable price level they've been at for weeks.
