The good news is that one of the Intel prices we track actually did fall by a (barely) double-digit amount of $10 and that none fell by as much, unlike what we saw in the AMD charts. Unfortunately, though, this was one of only two price drops (with the other being by only $2). And worse, five other tracked prices inched upwards, with the rest holding right where they've been. But as we'd seen in the AMD sections of the guide, things could be worse.
This week's prices, unfortunately, were about as stagnant as we've seen them in a while. Nowhere in the guide, in fact, are you going to see much in the way of downward price movement, with only a few dropping at all and none dropping by very much. But buyers will nonetheless get a whole lot of bang for buck, as quad-core processors from either of the camps can be had for under $200.
