Intel Comments
Unfortunately, this week's Intel prices are holding far steadier than their AMD counterparts. Only two of the prices we track fell at all, and neither of those fell by very much. Even worse... the bigger of those two drops, a $9 drop in the tracked price of the i7 920 was countered by a $9 increase on the Q8300.
General Comments
While the majority of the prices we tracked in this week's guide held fairly steady, several fell from last week's prices and a handful fell by significant enough amounts to merit the attention of prospective CPU buyers. Hopefully, the coming weeks will see such drops become less the exception and more the norm.
