Intel Comments

If you thought that the Intel chart couldn't possibly be more devoid of drops than what you just saw in the AMD section of the guide, then think again. Of the 23 Intel prices that we track in this guide, only one fell at all: the E8500, which fell $5 from last week's price. Two others experienced similarly small price increases, with the rest holding right where they'd previously been tracked at.

General Comments

Unfortunately, our hopes for an uptick in price drops have gone unrealized, as this week's prices hold about as steady as we've ever seen them. Only a few of the prices we track fell at all, in fact; and none of those fell by enough to merit much in the way of notice.
