For the most part, Intel prices held about as steady as their AMD counterparts. One of the prices we track did fall by a fairly significant amount: a $20 drop in the tracked price of the Core i7 860. Unfortunately, this was one of only two Intel prices drops, with the other being a $5 drop in the price of the Core i7 930. Even more unfortunately, the biggest price change was a whopping $30 increase in the tracked price of the Core i7 920, likely a result of that processor gradually disappearing.
A few price drops can be found scattered amongst otherwise stagnating prices, and one of those was even a pretty noteworthy drop. But by and large, the prices we tracked continued to hold steady in this week's guide.
