This issue's Intel chart contains only a little more movement than we saw in the AMD section of the guide. Three of the prices we track fell since our last issue, but only one of those fell by more than a couple of dollars: the Celeron E3300, which dropped $11 to its currently tracked price of $40. But the biggest price change we tracked, unfortunately, was a $25 increase in the price of the Core i7 975 Extreme Edition.
Alas, this edition of the Biweekly CPU Price Guide doesn't contain any drops as large as the one lone triple-digit drop we saw a couple of weeks ago. We'd been hoping that it would prove to be the beginning of a downward trend, but instead found prices holding about as steady as we've seen them in recent weeks and months.
