Intel Comments

Of the 23 prices we track in the Intel chart, only two experienced any drop at all: the Core i7 870 and the Core i7 975 Extreme Edition, which fell by $4 and $5, respectively. The rest held right where they'd been or inched upwards in price.

General Comments

This issue of the Biweekly CPU Price Guide contains a number of modest price drops. But with more holding steady than dropping, and none falling by particularly huge amounts, this week's guide is unlikely to spur any sort of buying frenzy.
